The church grounds were once said to be haunted by the ghost of a woman’s jilted lover, who only stopped his ghostly wandering when he was forgiven by his former betrothed.

Panteg (Welsh: Pant-teg) is a village in Torfaen, Wales.

It is adjacent to Griffithstown, between the towns of Cwmbran and Pontypool.
