Cornwall is a unitary authority and ceremonial county of England, at the tip of the southwestern peninsula of Great Britain. The administrative centre and only city is Truro.
It is bordered to the north and west by the Atlantic Ocean, to the south by the English Channel, and to the east by the county of Devon, over the River Tamar.

Reputedly haunted by a stranger outside, a man in a tricorne hat and cloak , the sounds of footsteps, disembodied voices talking in un usual language and the “clatter of horses hooves on cobbled ground heard in the depths of night”.
This certainly deserves its reputation as a Haunted Hotspot!

The castle is reputedly haunted by at least four apparitions:
A ghost appears on the battlements, a second is said to be the ghost of former owner; and numerous female apparitions have been reportedly sighted inside the castle.
